NHSSM-NHSSMA Leadership Seminar
We are excited to invite your Sports Medicine program to our upcoming Sports Medicine Mixer, taking place on TBA at LA City College. This event will feature engaging leadership and sports medicine activities, along with insights from medical professionals. It’s a great opportunity to build valuable connections and grow within the field. Each school can bring up to 6 students. The cost is $10 per student, and advisors attend for free. This price includes lunch and workshops throughout the day.

Time - 8:00 am - 4:45 pm
Location - St. Francis High School -La Canada, CA
This is a multifaceted event:
1) Academic Biathalon for students and school who wish to comepete.
2) Specialty Events:
a) Anatomage Anatomy Challenge - Regional qualifier for Anatomage National Competition
b) Quiz Bowl
c) Medical Abbreviations or Medical Terminology exam
d) Super Team Awards
3) Presentations
4) Guest Speakers
5) Awards
6) Qualifier for the AACI National Online Sports Medicine Competition- May 2026
7) Qualifier for the Anatomage National Competition- 2026
*** Students wishing to attend but not compete are welcome to experience the event with their school at a reduced rate!
